Gracie's New Swingset!!!

Gracie recieved an early birthday present!!! She turns three on August 21st!!! We have been looking for awhile now for a wood playset. I have read the reviews on those at toys 'r' us and most of them were not good!! We could not afford those that cost thousands of dollars! I like to browse craigslist and there just happen to be a wood swingset for sale on Friday!!!! The original owners paid $2000 for this set at Sam's and it is in great condition. We got the set for way less than $2000!!! Thanks mimi and papa for splitting the price with us!!! Brad is currently pressure washing the set and we are going to restain it. It will look brand new!! Gracie has already been playing on it while it is in pieces, so we know she will love it!!! She loves to play outside!! Here are some pics of the set before it is put together, which will be soon. Happy 4th Of July

I am a little behind on some new posts! Here are some pictures of what we did on the fourth of July. We had a cookout at our house and had everybody over to eat and then went to the fireworks show downtown. We did not get to see the show due to a thunderstorm that came through Knoxville right before the fireworks! We all were a little disappointed, especially Gracie! The fireworks did go off later, but we were already at home. Hope you had a happy fourth!!!!

New Pregnancy Update!!

I am now 13wks and 1 day pregnant!!! I went to the doctor today for this months check-up and baby looks great! They tried to hear the heartbeat with the doppler and could not pick it up, so they did an ultrasound. I was really praying hard on the way to that ultrasound room!! The baby was kicking and the heartbeat was 154bpm!! Thank you Lord!!!! God is awesome!!!! I will go back on August 4th for another check-up and at the end of August we will find out what we are having!! We really do not care, just as long as it is healthy. Gracie changes her mind everyday as to what the baby is. She is so cute talking about it. I really don't think she understands completley yet! Thank you so much to everyone for your prayers and please continue to pray for us! With the second pregnancy, you know so much of what is going on and what can happen, but that is where we must put our Faith in God and just pray that this little life that he gave us will continue to grow into a healthy baby!!! I will try to post some ultrasound pics as soon as I figure out how to do it.

Sprinkler Park

I took Gracie to the sprinkler park the other day with some friends. She loves water and would stay forever if she could. This is the first year that she has taken up with playing in the fountains. She is a little hesitant at first and then she does not want to leave!! Brad and I took her down to the world's fair park fountains and she ran for an hour around the fountains and did not stop!! I literally mean she ran a circle, like she was running track. A couple stopped and asked us if she was going to be track star someday! She loves to run, which is a great thing! Here are a few pics from the Powell sprinkler park. We did not have the camera the day we went to the world's fair park.

Gymnastics

I am so far behind on posting what has been going on in our lives!! Gracie is now taking gymnastics and has been for the past three weeks. She loves it!! Not only is she learning about gymnastics, but it also helps her out on her listening skills. Something mothers of toddlers know all about!!! Today everyone came and watched Gracie, including her daddy, mimi, papa, gramma and pop pop. She was so excited to see everyone, especially Brad. Her class started out with Gracie and her little friend Aidley, but has grown into about 5 kids now. Our goal if for her to continue with this until she wants to stop, but someday maybe she will go to the olympics!!!!
