Gracie Is Ready For Summer Time!!

Gracie is out of school for the summer and she is ready to go swimming!!! Can't you tell from the look on her face in the picture!!!! She is so funny! She is already talking about her birthday and what she wants!!! She is growing up so quickly!! We are ready to go swimming and have some fun this summmer!!

Jake In His Highchair!!

Jake sat in his highchair today for the first time to eat his rice cereal!! As you tell from the pics, he wanted to eat the spoon and everything on it! I think more cereal went all over his face instead of his stomach!! Enjoy the pics!! I know there are alot of them!

Jake's 4 Month Check-Up

Jake had his 4 month check-up on Monday May 18th. He will be 5 months old on May 31, so we are a little late!! He had his shots, but did very well! His stats are that he is in the 73% with his weight being 16lbs and 13oz!!! His height is 26in and that puts him in the 74%!!! With this being said "He is a big boy"!!!! He goes back for his 6 month check-up at the end of June. So I hope we can go a whole month without going to Knoxville Pediatric!!! He is also doing great with his therapy for his neck. He will probaly be discharged from that at the end of the month, first of June!! We are blessed with healthy children and we thank God everyday for that!!! Gracie has finished preschool for the year!!! She had a wonderful year and has grown so much!! We are so proud of her and Jake!!

Mother's Day Part 2

I took some new pics of the kids together on mother's day! Gracie decided she wanted to hold Jake, so that was my chance to snap some pics of them! They turned out great! Brad asked me what I wanted this year for mother's day and I told him to plant something in honor of Gracie and Jake! They went and got two beautiful rose bushes, flowers and new shrubs for the house! They look great!! We also had a black snake in our back yard on mother's day! I hate snakes!! Brad and Wes were able to catch it and take it to the back of the woods!! I hope he never returns or any of his friends!!!!! Here are some more pics of mother's day!!

Mother's Day 2009

I'm a little behind on my posting!!! I had a wonderful mother's day this year, besides being sick in bed!! I had strep throat over mother's day weekend!! I could not even get out of bed on Saturday!!! It was awful and I'm thankful that no one else has caught it!!! We started Sunday off with spending time with Pennie. We went to brunch at the Hyatt downtown and the food was delicous!! Thank you Doug for such a wonderful Mother's day brunch!! The food was great and the table we ate at was beautiful! After we got home, we drove around Sequaoh Hills in Brad's new wagon! It is our new family car and we love it!!! We spent the rest of the evening over at my mom's house just visiting. Brad introduced mom and dad to the new wagon by taking them on a Sunday drive! Finally a car that will hold everybody! Here are some pics of the day!! Happy late mother's day to everyone!!

Jake Is 4 Months Old!!

Jake is 4 months old and I cannot believe it!! My kids are growing up way too fast on me!!! He is a happy and very good baby!! He is laid back most of the time! He can have a temper sometimes!! Right now he has a runny nose and a cough :( Big sister Gracie was sick this week so I am sure that is where the sickness came from!! He goes to the Dr. next week for his 4 month check-up and shots!! I dread that visit !! He loves to smile as you will see in some of the pics!! He loves to watch Gracie. He will smile and try to talk to her, but she want stop long enough for him to get her in his focus!! They are so cute together and Brad and I could not be more blessed! Thank you God for these wonderful and healthy childeren, who bring so much joy to our lives and those around them!!!
