Jake being Jake!

Here are some pics of Jake in his santa hat!! He is too cute goofing off for the camera!! He also likes to hide in small places and climb on the furniture!! I am going to have my hands full when he starts walking!! I have also included a pic of one pooped baby in his highchair!! He is even tired from the busy month of December!!

Biltmore 2009

We visited the Biltmore house a couple of weekends ago and had a great time!! It was very cold, but we had a great time as a family. The house was so beautiful decorated at Christmas time. We were able to purchase our tickets at TVA Credit Union at a reduced price, so we then upgraded to a season pass. We will be going back soon! I did not get to take many pics, seeing as you can't do any photography in the house. Here are some pics that I was able to get!!

Jakes's One Year Pictures

One year ago, we were waiting..........

Losing Weight..........

As many of you know that read my blog, I started a weight loss journey last March. As of today my weight loss is 66 pounds!!! I have done this by walking almost everyday for 2-3 miles a day and cutting back on sweets and carbs. Yes, I still eat carbs, just not much bread or pasta. Walking has become one of my favorites things to do daily. I have so much more energy now and I'm going to need it as Jake starts to walk!!!!! I'm blogging about this because I want to thank God for giving me the strength to do this and my family for the support. Without God, none of it would have been possible!!! Here are some pics from when I started to current. I still have alot to lose, but 66 pounds of it are gone!!!!!!

Jake will turn ONE soon!!!! How can that be??????

I can't believe Jake will be turning one on New Year's Eve!!!! This year has flown by!! My friend Dallas let me borrow her indoor photography equipment the other day to do Jake's one year pictures. They turned out great and I will give you a sneak peek at some that I got. I used two of the pictures for Jake's birthday invitation,which I made on Picasa. I checked shutterfly's invites and they were to expensive, so I made my own!!! I have been thinking about buying a new camera. I love my Canon rebel, but I need one that does a little more. After using Dallas's equipment, I'm really hooked on photography more than ever!!!! Here are the invites to Jake's party. I will post the other pics after Christmas :) Thanks Dallas, maybe I will have my own stuff soon!!!
