The Wedding Day!!

I never thought this day would ever come!!! My brother got married this weekend!! It was a very sweet wedding! Gracie was the cutest flower girl! Ok, I'm a little bias since she is my daughter!! I did not think she was going to be in the wedding. She woke up early Sat. morning with a temp of 104!!! I took her to KPA Saturday morning and they diagnosed her with a sinus infection and we left with a prescription for Amoxicillin! She made it to the wedding on time!! We had a great weekend spending time with my family from Indiana!! There stays are always too short!! Here are some pics of the rehersal and the big day!!

Blowing Bubbles!

Gracie loves bubbles!! What kid does not like bubbles?? I took some pics of her today blowing bubbles, so I thought I would share my two favorites!! I know that I take alot of pictures, but they grow up so fast and change so much everyday!! It is my way of documenting there childhood!

The Famous Duck!!

There is a story behind the duck picture. The duck was given as a shower gift for Gracie. We took Gracie's pic with the duck when she was a baby and used it as our birth announcement. So today, I decided it was Jake's turn to meet the duck! The pics turned out so cute and made me laugh! Here are some pics of Jake with the duck and Gracie with the duck as a baby!!

2 Month Doctor's Visit

Jake had his two month dr's visit today at KPA. He also got his first shots :( He was a trooper through the whole thing and did very well! He now weighs 14pds and 1o ounces. His Height was 24 inches long! He is a big boy for two months of age. The nurse practioner (which we love to see) said Jake looked good on the growth chart! He is going to have physical therapy for his neck. He always wants to hold his head to the right and look to the right. He has a hard time using his neck muscles to the left. This can be corrected with physical therapy. It can be caused by the way the baby lies in the uterus or the baby being pulled throught the birth canal, but Jake was delivered by c-section. He probaly got so big in there that he had no room to lay!!! We are waiting on Children's Hospital therapy to call us and set up an appointment. Please pray for Jake as he continues to grow and change everyday!! God has blessed Brad and I with more than we deserve!! We have two wonderful children which we know are a gift from above!!

One Month & Two Month Pics!

Here is a pic of jake at one month and pic of Jake at two months!! He changes everday, so I thought I would put the two pics together to see the difference! I am going to take the same pic every month to watch him grow!! Pretty soon he won't be able to fit in his infant seat anymore!!

Do They Look Alike??

I wanted to post a baby pic of Gracie and Jake together to see how close they look like. They both have big eyes, especially when Gracie was a baby. Jake has huge eyes, especially when he gets excited over mommy!! :0) Jake is a sweet baby like Gracie was! They are both my snuggle bugs!!

Loving The Warm Weather!!

We are loving the warm weather!!! Gracie especially because she gets to go outside and play!! We went to the UT Gardens on Sunday and I tried to take some pics of the kids. They both were a little fussy, so I only got a few cute pics!! Jake is still growing like a weed!! I think he is going ot eat us out of the house!! He wants to eat all the time it seems like!! Gracie is more sassy than ever lately!! I think it is an attention thing!! Jake slept through the night on Sunday night, but has not since then! I'm sure he will sleep throught the night one day :) Here are some new pics of the family!! Enjoy :)

Baby Jake turns 2 months old!!!

I can't believe Jake is 2 months old!! He is smiling a cooing away!! It is so sweet too hear him coo in the mornings! And, yes he is a morning baby rising at 5:30 or 6:30 in the morning!!! He usually wakes about one time during the night now!! I have put him on formula and he seems to be doing better! He is a big boy and wanted to nurse all of the time and I felt that I could not keep up!!! So formula was the best decision for us! Happy baby and happy mommy equals more rest!! Gracie goes to Dora the explorer!!!!

We went to see Dora the explorer live tonight!! We had a blast!! Mimi, Gracie and I had the best time!! This is a great show for kids and I would recommend everyone to go and see it if they have the chance!! They interact with the audience and the kids love it!! Gracie loved it and I would take her back if I had the chance!! We had the best seats as you can see from the pics of the stage! The only bad thing is they would not let you take pics in the auditorium. I sneeked the pics of the stage and a few other pics! Thank you Mimi for the tickets!! We had the best time!
