Sweet Baby Jake

Jake is doing great! He now weighs 13pounds!! He is smiling and cooing more everyday!! He likes to snuggle with you!! He is a sweet baby! He is still not sleeping throught the night, but I'm sure that will come someday soon I hope! He has a cold right now, but seems to be getting better. I can't believe he is almost 2 months old! Again, time is flying by!! He still has all of his hair that he was born with, but he does have the bald spot in the back! His baby acne is better some days. It flairs up one day and clear the next! I wish that it would go away! Here are some new pics of sweet baby Jake!!

Gracie is growing up so fast!!

I can't believe Gracie will be turning 4yrs old in August!! Where has the time went!! I can't believe she will soon be in kindergarden one day!! I dread that day!! It will be a happy event, but sad at the same time!! She is our sassy little girl and you never know what she will say or do next!! She has done very well with Jake and the role as big sister!! As for our dog Alex and her, that is another story!! She does not like when he looks at her!! I have to seperate the two!! Is this what my future looks like with her and Jake???? It is funny sometimes, but gets annoying after awhile!! She is a very energetic child as her teachers at preschool have told me! They told me that she is doing great in school! We are very proud of our little girl and know that she is growing up fast!! I thank God everyday that he has blessed me with the oppurtunity to stay at home with Gracie!

Happy Late Valentine's Day!

We had a great Valentine's day! Brad, Jake and I ate at Litton's on Friday night!! The dessert was yummy! We got there early before it got so crowded. Gracie was with Gramma and Poppy while we went out. I got up Saturday morning to pick up some chocolate covered strawberries for us and they were yummy! That was mine and Brad's gift to one another! Hope everyone had a great Valentines day!!

Gracie's First Shiner!!

As most of you know, Gracie recieved a black eye last week at school. Her teachers told me her chair came out from under her and she hit the table! I took her to her pediatrician where she then had to get 2 sutures put in. What a day we had at the drs office! My arms are still sore from trying to hold her down. It took myself, 2 nurses and the dr to put 2 sutures in!! She is feeling better now and the sutures are out. She loved wearing the Barbie bandaids this week!! Here are some pics!

What A Crazy Week!!!

This week has been crazy!! First off, Gracie fell out of her chair at school on Tuesday and we ended up with 2 sutures to the forehead!! She is ok and had them taken out today at the drs office!! Both times you could hear her screaming over the entire office!! Very traumatic week for her!! Jake is now sick again with a cold!! I took him to the dr on Friday and then back this morning with Gracie. He had a breathing treatment and they put him on something for wheezing!! There is never a dull moment in motherhood, especially with two!! I am ready for spring time and for all of the germ bugs to disappear! Gracie hates being stuck in the house! We are ready to go out and play!! I will post new pics soon as Jake is changing everday! I have the cutest pic of him smiling!!

Jake At One Month!

Jake is growning like a weed!! He now weigh 12lbs! This post is a little late, so I will catch you up with all that has been going on!! Jake has a cold, but is doing much better!! On Jan. 31 we had to take him to children's hospital due to his cold. Poor thing could not breathe through his nose!! They suctioned out his nose and tested the mucus for RSV, which came back negative, thank goodness!! Jake loves to be held, by me of course :)! He does not like to put down, so we are working on that!! He really is a great baby! He smiled today for the first time and it was so sweet! It was a real smile and not gas!!! He will be two months old before I know it!! Here are some more pics of baby Jake!!

My Sweet Babies!!

I am a blog slacker lately!! I guess that is because I don't have alot of extra time on my hands!! Jake had his one month check-up last week and he weighs a whopping 12lbs!! He is a growing boy!! He loves to be held and does not like to be put down!! I never thought you could actually spoil a baby, but I think this little boy is spoiled!! He is so sweet and love to watch and listen for his big sister. He does have a fussy time and it seems to be more in the evenings. He is sleeping better at night! Some nights he lets me sleep for about 4 hours straight!!! I go for my 6wk postpartum check this week. I can't believe 6wks has went by so fast!! Gracie has taken on the role as big sister very well!! She always wants to know where baby Jake is! She tries to give him his paci, but ends up gagging him!! We are doing well and adjusting to life with two kids!! We are blessed beyond with what we deserve by having two healthy babies and we thank God everyday for them!! The Wedding Day Is Getting Closer!!

My brother is getting married!!! The big date is set for March 21, 2009!! We are very excited for this to be happening!! Many of you may not know, but he is also expecting a baby girl named Madison Jones who will be arriving in June!! We cannot wait to meet her! Eric has found himself a very sweet fiance! I had the chance to take there engagnement photos yesterday at the UT gardens. It was a wonderful day to take some pics and to get to know Autumn! Gracie has taken her up with and they seem to be big buddies!! Please keep them in your prayers as there start there new lives together and wait the arrival of sweet baby Madison!!
