Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We would like to wish everyone a very happy thanksgiving!!! We have so much to be thankful for!!! God sends us many blessings everyday and to him we are most thankful for!!!! We spent the day with family and eating way too much!!! Gracie is still trying to get over a cold and now I have caught her cold again!!! We are spending the weekend at home trying to get better! Brad has gone to Ohio for the night to an old car parts flea market! I guess to us women it would be like a purse, clothes and jewelry show!!! It has become tradition for him and his dad to do this every year. Please pray for this cold virus to leave our home!!! It seem like we just pass it back and forth!!!! Sorry no pics, I forgot my camera yesterday!!!

33Weeks Preggo And Counting!!!!

I had my 33wk doctor's appt today and baby Jake is doing great!! We scheduled my c-section today and the big date is January 2, 2009!!!! We will be going in at about 5:30 in the morning on that Friday to meet baby Jake!! That's the plan for right now unless he decides to come sometime in December!! I will be having another ultrasound on December 8th to see if he is head down and hopefully they will tell how big he is going to be!!! We put up the Christmas tree and decorations this weekend, so the house is ready for Christmas!!! Gracie is so excited this year about Christmas!! I love to see all the wonder and imagination that she has right now about everything!!! I can't wait for Jake to meet his big sister!! I had her big sister shirts made this weekend. I have a friend that has a monogram bussiness and she always does a great job on things!! Everything is almost in order for Jake's arrival! My suitcase is packed, the room is done, house ready and Gracie's shirts made!!!! He will be here before we know it!!! Here are some photos of our house in the fall, Gracie's big sis shirts and a new purchase that Brad and I made over the weekend!! We went out and bought ourselves a new 37 inch flat screen tv!!! We have never bought a new tv in our house. They have all been given to us or found at yard sales, so this will be a treat for us!!!

Gracie's First Trip To The Movies!!!!

Brad, Gracie and I went last night and saw Madagascar. It was the cutest movie!!!! Gracie loved the movie and did very well the whole time!!! To be honest, I was a little worried as to how she would do. We took care of potty breaks at the beginning and did not have to go back! That is wonderful for a three year old and a pregnant woman to not have to visit the bathroom a hundrend times during a movie!! We went to the Regal theatre uptown and it was very nice!!! We have not been to the movies in forever!! It was worth the price to see Gracie at her first movie, but I can't believe it cost $9 to get in now for adults!!! We did go all out last night and purchased popcorn and coke, which cost $11. Me, being pregnant, just had to have some candy, which was $8. But the memories of going are priceless!!! I told Brad that I should have taken the camera and he gave me the look!!!! That might have been a little much!! We had the best time together, just the three of us!!! We better get out now and do things just the three amigos, for baby Jake will be here before we know it!!! Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to meet him, but sometimes I think that it will never be just the three of us anymore! I'm sure it will be wonderful to be a family of four and I am very blessed to be pregnant and having my second child!! Just getting a little nervous now the closer that it gets!! I am not worried about the whole newborn thing again, but I really hope and pray the Gracie will transition well!!! I love her so much and just want her to be happy with little Jake! She will make a great big sister, but I know it will be a big change for her!! Please keep us in your prayers as we transition to a family of four soon!! Please pray for a healthy delivery as I will be having another c-section and for a healthy baby!!!!!

Braxton Hicks Contractions!!!!

I am already having braxton hicks contractions!!! I started having them on Monday and they do get better when I lie down to rest. I had a drs appt on Thurs, but decided I better go in on Wed. It took two doctors to check my cervix!!!! Pregnant women out there know how painful that is!!!! She said that my cervix is very posterior, whatever that means! I just know that it hurt while they were checking!!! I am already 1cm dialated!!! My dr said that this was normal for a second pregnancy and no need to be worried! I am not due until the first of Jan!!!! I think baby Jake really wants to come sooner than what we think!!! Please keep us in your prayers that he does not come out until he is a healthy baby!!! Gracie kept asking me while we were there if Jake was coming yet and if she was going to be a big sister yet!!! It was very cute!! She likes to entertain everyone in the waiting room of the drs office!! She likes to say out loud the name of the patients that are called back after the nurse calls there name. Most of the time mispronouncing there names!! She is our funny girl!!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

I can't believe that Halloween has come and gone already!!!! Gracie was a butterfly this year and a very cute one!!! I had another costume for her, but when someone asked her what she was going to be, she would always say butterfly. I found her costume at Cracker Barrell for 40%. We went trick or treating around our subdivision and then came home and went to bed. This week has been exhausting!!! Gracie got lots of treats and was ready for bed by the time we got home!! We enjoyed out quite Halloween!!! Enjoy the pics!!!

Jake's Room!!

We are almost finished with Jake's nursery!!! I have some last details of artwork that I want to do, such as some uppercase living! They have an elephant that goes with the one in Jake's bedding and I will probaly do his name somewhere in uppercase.Thank you to my wonderful husband Brad for doing all of the painting and putting the furniture together! He should do a show on HGTV!!! Now all we have to do is wait on his arrival!!!

Baby Shower

We had our first baby shower today for baby Jake given by my best friend Miranda Bailey!! Thank you Miranda for all that you do!!! It was a wonderful baby shower. Jake recieved lots of gifts! Brad and I are so blessed by family and friends! Gracie had a wonderful time helping out with the opening of gifts! Enjoy the pics!
